Icemen

Chris enjoys being outside and doing yard work.  So, in the winter, his equivalent to mowing the grass is shoveling the snow, and his equivalent to planting flowers is building icemen!

First, Chris filled 2 different sized buckets with water.  Then, he left them out to freeze for a few days (the number of days depended on the temperature)  For the heads, he filled beach balls and then had to cut them open once frozen.

He used his chainsaw to even out the tops.

An Iceman
(We can't do snowmen here because the snow is so dry and fluffy that it won't stick together for even a snowball.)

Our beautiful front yard.  We love being surrounded by trees.

Kyle often drags our little black step stool to the front window to check out what's going on.

 He loves watching Daddy work.

The rest of us were happy staying inside on this day!

Cozy Inside!

The final step was to "weld" the pieces together.

Our sidewalk lined with Icemen!
