Carrs Visit for Christmas

None of my married sisters planned on visiting Lubbock for Christmas this year, and since this would be my parents' last chance to visit us during an Alaska winter, my Mom, Dad, and youngest sister Jenny headed north!  We had fairly warm weather (10 above) for most of the 10 days they were here, which allowed us to do lots of outdoor activities, and there was, of course, plenty of Christmas centered events.

Christmas Eve was filled with cookie decorating and new pajamas.

 Picking up tips from Granddaddy

Kyle played on the computer (unknown by Daddy, hehe).

Later, Kyle tested the icing while on Granddaddy's lap.  (I love this picture!)

Sister Time!

Jenny also made sure to get in time with "her baby"

In the morning, there were of course presents as well as making a big breakfast.

Santa ate the cookies!

I love toys that help Grace get her energy out!

Feeding her Dinosaur Bank.  She loves collecting money everywhere she goes!

Discovery Toys Castle, Kyle loves it!

Grace wanted a scooter because Penny has one in the movie Bolt.

A special necklace and bracelet made by Gramma!

Grace helped make Dutch Babies for breakfast.  (A yummy dish I got from my sister, Laura. - apples, eggs, milk, flour, butter, and cinnamon.)

Stay tuned for future posts on ice parks, skiing, and even mushing!
