Big Family Vacation: #1 Vancouver

Prepare for a Photo Explosion! (I will try not to overwhelm you but I just LOVE pictures!)

From July 17th through Aug. 8th, we had a fabulous time with my side of the family. This includes my parents, my older sister Laura with her husband and 3 kids, my younger sister Heather with her husband, another sister Stephanie with her husband, and my youngest sister Jennifer with no husband because she's only 17. We had an absolute BLAST!

We started at Vancouver for the weekend, then cruised up the Inside Passage, spent a few days in Anchorage, a day at Katmai, took the train up to Fairbanks through Denali, and finally the fam spent a week at our house in Fairbanks!

On Friday the 17th, our little family (Chris, me, Grace, and Kyle) flew to Vancouver and met up with my mom, dad, and youngest sister Jenny.

Here we are on Granville Island.

Vancouver is a GORGEOUS city. There are multiple decorative bridges and the skyline is filled with glass covered skyscrapers. They are surrounded by mountains or water everywhere you look. Vancouver is definitely one of my most favorite cities.

Grace and I, at the Aquarium in Stanley Park.

We went out to Capilano Suspension Bridge on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.

The bridge swayed and bounced so much it made me nervous holding Kyle while walking on it!

On the other side of the main bridge, there were smaller suspended bridges and some boardwalks. It was beautiful.

Zack, Grace, Natalie, and Ashley hugging the Canadian Trooper Bear.

The rest of our crew slowly arrived over the weekend, and by Monday morning we had everyone! Time hit the open sea!

Natalie and Grace are great friends. They are 2 days apart in age!

The handsome boy cousins. (Zack and Kyle)
